Kathandeni Forest Explore

The slopes of Mt Kenya will be our playground this coming Saturday. Waterfall chasing and forest bathing is the practice of simply being in the forest..slow walk through the forest to experience the calming and the restorative effect of the forest. Where better this to happen than on the slopes of Mt. Kenya. We start from Kamwana following the rarely frequented elephant trails through one of the few remaining indigenous forests in the country.

The 17km trail will take you through the rainforest with a variety of tree and bird species.

All through opportunities to just take in the forest atmosphere and literally bath in its beauty in awe.

Comfortable running shoes or hiking boot
Hiking/gym pants (avoid jeans)
Polyester T-shirt (like the football jerseys) carry an extra one to change after the hike
Head-torch
A change of clothes after the hike and for your travel back to Nairobi

Cancellation Policy If you cancel more than 48hours before your scheduled trip departure, a 50% of the fee will be charged. If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be provided. No shows are responsible for 100% of trip fees.
