7 Ponds Table Mountain Moorland Traverse

Once again and in a big way we return to the hiker’s paradise. The Seven tarns are a gem of seven small water bodies in the beautiful moorland of the Aberdares in between Table mountain and Rurimeria.

This time we traverse from the tarns to summit Table Mountain and then head down.
Starting at 2600M Asl we ascend 1000M to enjoy this beauty and serenity. The views of Le Satima and Mt. Kipipiri as you go up here are amazing.

Comfortable running shoes or hiking boot
Hiking/gym pants (avoid jeans)
Polyester T-shirt (like the football jerseys) carry an extra one to change after the hike
Head-torch
A change of clothes after the hike and for your travel back to Nairobi
Sunglasses
Hat/cap
Camera
Binoculars
Drinking water (3litres)
Sunscreen (Arimis oK)
Heavy snack or picnic Lunch
