Our first Coastal adventure takes us to Pangani and Chasimba, two beautiful sites, known for their stunning rock formations and indigenous plants.
We start the morning at Pangani, where we will wander through the forest, a freshwater stream and climb over some of the rocks. Our guide will show us some of the indigenous trees that can only be found in this location. After this we shall head through the small valley, making our way via homesteads to the magical caves of Chasimba. En route we shall see more ridges and rock formations.
We approach Chasimba from the South, through fields and coconut tree heaven. For those feeling up for a challenge we can climb the roof of Chasimba, by hiking up the sharp rocks and making our way to ‘the bathtubs with a view’ (you will know it when you see it). We shall end our morning mission with a visit into the dramatic caves, full of stalactites and stalagmites, bats and ancient wisdom. There will be hands and feet involved in getting over and through some parts in and around the caves, come ready to climb and clamber!
